Pro men start. |

That's Chrissie Wellington far right!! She was awesome in person too. |

Ominous weather, but it missed us. No repeat of last year's race shut down because of storms |
|

Just one of the swim waves. 2000 Triathletes reported. |

Another wave of lemmings, ...er triathletes. |

| Poor chap was WAAAY late for his wave (first wave after pros). Here he is setting the all time record for donning a FULL sleeve wetsuit with the crowd cheering him on and some fellow athletes helped get him suited up. |
I doubt he had any time to get pam or body glide on. Out of the picture to the right are the other 1900 or so athletes. Poor guy probably had his HR sky high before even wetting a whisker!
Points for persistence and style anyway. Wonder how his race went?! |

| Tim Hancock. Most were in full sleeve wetsuits but Tim raced in his swim skin while awaiting warranty repairs of a defective new wetsuit. |
Doug McFarlin. |

|
| Rob Chance. |
Swim Exit, well laid out. Only a few sprinkles during the swim and the bad weather moved on. |
|
 |
 |
|
| Transition Area, during the swim. |
Most of the Triathletes are out on the bike. Swim gear bagged and delivered to finish line. Took a lair of effort by the race producers to pull off two TAs for such a large race. |

A pro's work is never done. Passing out finisher medals and posing for countless FL pics... AFTER winning the pro women race (and she had a flat).
TAT's pro Jessica Meyers had a great race too! |
Carter Fairless, contemplating his PR. Cloud cover long gone by now. He said it is a tough half iron despite the bike course change over last year's race. 19 min course PR (does it count since bike route changed?) |

The three No Evil Boys. From left to right: See, Hear and Speak. (Doug McFarlin, Carter Fairless and Tim Hamcick)
Good finish line area. Beer, BBQ, music and swapping race adventures before driving back home. |
Stephen Scace and Rob Chance hanging out post race. |
|

Carter's new Tri bike. Limited production. Very lightweight and fast.
(marines visited the expo in this) |

Congratulations to all the Tulsans and Oklahomans who participated.
We love you all, and always are rooting for you, wherever you race!
And, don't the new TAT kits look great!?! |
