LAP POOL: Closed due to C19

TAT members do not have lap pool access at this time.
Lap pool access is limited to YWCA members only. 

When lap pool access returns , you must be a current TAT member to take advantage of this benefit.
You must present a physical copy of your TAT membership card and sign-in at the front desk prior to pool use and sign a pool waiver prior to taking advantage of this club benefit. Click here to recover/print your membership card.
Note: YWCA facility rules apply. 
  DETAILS:  Current TAT members may use the two East lanes (closest to the lifeguard) during any normally scheduled lap pool access time.  Lap times change are subject to change without notice. YWCA aquatics schedule.
 OPEN WATER

Be safe, be seen & know your abilities.
Open water swims are organized May through September. ​
Swim-buoy safety float required.
Swim-buoys available at Runners World Tulsa.
You must be a current TAT member to participate.

This is a public activity - no lifeguards are present.
​Weather and safe lake conditions permitting, 
TAT takes to the water Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
Visit our Facebook Page events for OWS event times & locations. OWS events are subject to change.
Check the OWS FB event before heading out to the lake.
​OWS events are typically posted on Facebook the Wed evening prior to weekend swims. 
Open Water Swim Rules

Swim-buoy safety float required. Buy them at Runners World, 3820 S Peoria, Tulsa.
Be current TAT member​ and prove it upon request of event organizer.
Sign-in with OWS host upon arriving and check-out with OWS host before leaving.
If you see something, say something. Please notify your fellow swimmers if you see or anticipate any safety issues.
You are solely responsible for your own safety.
This is a public activity - no lifeguards are present. 
Never swim alone - swim and communicate with the group.
We typically swim South of Tulsa at Heyburn Lake near Kellyville or, North of Tulsa at Oologah Lake.

HEYBURN LAKE (Kellyville, OK)
    WHEN:  Check our Facebook event for the latest OWS event times, locations and updates
  WHERE:  Heyburn Park Public Use Area, 27349 W Heyburn Lake Road, Kellyville
  NOTE:  Heyburn lake is muddy and will likely stain light or bright clothing. Check-in near the swim area.
OOLOGAH LAKE (Oologah, OK)
WHEN:  Check our Facebook event for the latest OWS event times, locations and updates
WHERE:  Dam Site West Public Use Area, Hawthorn Bluff on Oologah Lake

NOTES:  Check-in near the bathrooms, above the swim area. We start from the right-side of the designated swim area.
                  There is typically boat traffic near so...always swim with a bright cap and safety float, stay with your pace group, follow
                  the shoreline and/or marker buoys swimming no more than 10-yards off the shoreline or marker buoy.
