Do I need experience to join TAT?
No. TAT welcomes beginners, experienced athletes, and competitive triathletes. You can join at your current fitness level and learn through group workouts, events, and community support.
What gear do I need for my first triathlon?
For your first triathlon, you need a bike, helmet, and running shoes. Most beginners start with basic gear and upgrade later as training becomes more consistent.
Do I have to be a 'fast' athlete to join?
Absolutely not. We have members of all speeds, from those just learning to swim to Ironman Champions.
How far is a beginner triathlon?

Does TAT offer structured triathlon training plans?
Not generally (We are a triathlon club, not a coaching business) however, our beginner triathlon camp does provide participants with a structured training leading up to the Spring Fever Sprint Triathlon.
